BALLYCLARE will have the X-Factor on Saturday (December 1) when the MacDonald Brothers take to the stage at the town hall to switch on the Christmas lights.
The Scottish duo, Brian and Craig, will be performing and Shrek and Santa will also be making special appearances.
Local bands Decorum, Jargon and Six Days Later will also be keeping the crowds well entertained. The festivities will begin from 1.30pm, with lights being switched on at 5pm.
The Ballyclare celebrations will also bring to an end the Citybeat Young Star Christmas Tour.
The event will be headlined by talented 9-year-old Holly Riddell from Ballyclare who was a finalist in 'The Young Star Search' when at the May Fair earlier in the summer.
The annual Senior Citizens tea dance will take place on Thursday 6 December in the Town Hall between 2-5pm and don't miss Santa's final farewell on Saturday 22 December, 2-4pm. This event is organised by Ballyclare Lions Club in association with Ballyclare Chamber of Trade.
