BOYZONE singer Shane Lynch has been lined up to speak at a Newtownabbey church next week.
Shane, who has taken part in a number of TV reality shows in recent years, including The Games, Love Island and Cirque De Celebrite, will visit Jordan Victory Church, Knockagh Road on Tuesday, July 1.
Shane travelled the globe as a member of one of
the most popular and successful boy bands in the world.
Boyzone's first twelve singles reached the top five in the charts and they became the first Irish act to have four number one hits in the UK.
In spite of his tremendous success, adulation and wealth, Shane recognised that there was something still missing and that there had to be more to life. After dabbling in spiritualism, Shane became a born again Christian. That was four years ago, and he now enjoys travelling the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland speaking to church groups about his new found faith.
Shane shares his story with interviewer Steve Legg who tops and tails the evening, making the night a fantastic medium for the gospel to all age groups.
Admission to the event is free, but seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Doors open at 6.30pm, with the evening getting under way at 7.30pm.
