Abbey Historical Society kicks off 20th year

THE Abbey Historical Society will kick off its 20th anniversary year with a visit from raconteur, historian and Author from Killyleagh, Clive Scoular on Wednesday, January 9 at 7.30pm.

Clive who is no stranger to the Society will speak on the subject ‘Spies in Ireland’ and will also cover some of the more flamboyant characters in Irish literature.

The society meets in the White House, Whitehouse Park, Newtownabbey and visitors are most welcome.
