Ballyclare WI members enjoy Annual Dinner

BALLYCLARE Women’s Institute President Joy Parkinson welcomed everyone to the group’s February meeting which was the Annual Dinner held in Oregano restaurant, Ballyrobert.

After a lovely meal the McKay Cup for Craftwork was presented to June McGrugan. The Competition Cup was won by Eleanor Smyth and the Runner-up Cup was shared by Amanda Crymble and Pat Duddy. Several members won prizes in the raffle which were provided by the Committee.

The next meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 6, in Ballyclare Secondary School at 7.15pm and is entitled ‘An Introduction to New Products’ by a representative from Dale Farm.

New members are always welcome.
