Historical society members learn more about the Lagan Legacy
THE monthly meeting of Abbey Historical Society will take place at White House, Whitehouse Park, Whitehouse tonight, Wednesday, February 8, at 7.30 pm.
The speaker is Lee Lavis from the Lagan Legacy who will give an illustrated talk on ‘Harland & Wolff - from Home Rule Crisis to Irish Partition’.
Lee is a new speaker to the Society and his lecture is being hotly anticipated by Society members, following on from their visit to the Lagan Legacy barge moored at the Waterfront, Belfast, last September.
Visitors will be made most welcome at Abbey Historical Society meetings which are held in the newly revamped White House on the second Wednesday of every month.
