A NEW housing development in Glengormley has attracted a good level of demand according to one of the estate agents handling the sale.

Work is set to begin on the new development on Sandymount Green on the Antrim Road opposite Swanston.

The development, when built, will consist of 29 new detached and semi-detached full-turnkey homes.

Full details of the properties will be released in the next couple of weeks, however, estate agent Jim McMillan said there has already been an interest in the development.

He said: “The development is in a great location and on the Antrim Road, which is a big advantage for many people.

“The nearby new development opposite the Moyola garage on the Antrim Road has proved popular among buyers and I expect the same for this new site.

“Lots of people have already been enquiring about the development, enquiry level and demand has been good.

“The properties will be released in the next couple of weeks and I expect it to sell well.”
