Hospice information event

THE Hospice is holding an information evening at its Horizon House headquarters this Wednesday, February 27 from 7pm.

The aim of the event is to provide people with information on how to organise fundraisers to help raise much needed cash for the charity.

The Hospice is currently in the process of rebuilding its Somerton Road facility in north Belfast and patients are currently residing in Whiteabbey Hospital.

Because of the major works the Hospice is in need of extra funding for the rebuild as well as for its normal services.

Local fundraiser, John Phillips said: “Becoming a friend of the Hospice is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly team, meet lots of new people and learn new skills.”
