Newtownabbey-based TreatTicket.com is celebrating after scooping the coveted ‘Best New Product/Service Campaign’ award at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) awards.

The UK-wide daily deals website picked up the accolade at the 2012 Marketing Excellence Awards Ireland at Titanic Belfast.

The company, which offers discounted daily treats to over 150,000 subscribers across the UK, has been in operation for just over 18 months.

TreatTicket managing director Mary McCall, from north Belfast, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won the award for Best New Product as it recognises the big impact TreatTicket has already made on the UK market in the short time we have been in operation.

“The award is a great testament to the TreatTicket team who are passionate and dedicated to the business.”

TreatTicket currently offers deals in a total of 31 cities throughout the UK.

Mary added: “In the coming months we plan to launch a series of new products that will revolutionise how high street retailers interface with potential customers online and drive significant footfall for towns and cities across the UK.

“More and more businesses are recognising the benefit of including TreatTicket as part of their marketing mix and it’s very rewarding to have this recognised by the CIM.”
