Sinn Fein opens new constituency office
Oliver McMullan
TOMORROW, (January 20) will see the official opening of Sinn Féin’s East Antrim constituency office at 19 High Street, Carnlough.
Sinn Féin MLA Oliver McMullan has described the significance of this facility for the people of East Antrim and for the political landscape of the constituency as “tremendous”.
“The people of East Antrim and the Nationalist community in particular have been devoid of proper representation in East Antrim for too long,” said Mr McMullan.
“The politics of the past have under-represented the people in this area and maintained divisions. Sinn Féin is opening an office with the aim of representing all the people in the East Antrim area.
“Everyone in the area regardless of colour, creed, gender, political persuasion or any other social or ethnic background will be made welcome, and be dealt with in the strictest of confidence whatever their inquiry or grievance. “
Mr McMullan said he would like to invite everyone to avail of the services offered by this office and wished all his constituents a very peaceful and prosperous new year.
