Teen assaulted in Rathcoole

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault believed to have occurred in Rathcoole Drive on Sunday morning (December 2).

A 19-year-old man was struck from behind and knocked to the ground not far from a local social club at around 6.30am.

He sustained a broken nose and a cut lip and was treated in hospital for his injuries.

Officers investigating the assault are keen to hear from anyone who was in the Rathcoole Drive area at around the time of the assault and can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
