I was very glad to receive the latest recruitment leaflets from the BNP and although I have never had much interest in local politics I am very concerned about the huge increase in the immigrant population in recent years, which leading industrialists and economists now recognise has been of virtually no benefit to the British economy.
The local parties have little or nothing to say on this issue, apart from parroting the standard new Labour nonsense about "diversity" and how it has "enriched " us. Enoch Powell's nightmare vision of racial conflict on the streets is coming to pass as crime spirals out of control in inner London and radical Islamic apologists for suicide bombers escape justice.
However, it would seem from the literature that the BNP is far more than a single issue party,as they have sound economic policies to help re-establish Britain as a nation of industrial innovation and a nett exporter of quality products. They would withdraw us from the corrupt and inefficient EU before it usurps all state power from member nations and introduce tough anti-crime policies which we need more than ever.
William McCabe, Newtownabbey.
