Newtownabbey Borough Council has purchased seven shelters for the all-weather pitches at Foundry lane, Ballyclare.
These were placed along the side of the pitches three weeks ago but were not secured adequately.
Subsequently, four are now destroyed due to wind/storm damage. They are overturned, the polycarbonate sheeting is hanging off and frames are twisted and dented.
How ridiculous is this? This is our money!
Thoroughly Disgusted (name and address supplied).
