NEWTOWNABBEY singer Alecia Karr, better known as the UK’s top tribute act to Pink, was asked to unveil the £1.5 million refurbishment to VIP facilities at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena, ahead of Sunday’s glittering awards.
Alecia who is the only Pink tribute act to have performed live for the popular pop starlet herself, said she was ‘honoured and delighted’ to be asked to unveil the work carried out by Gilbert-Ash Fitout on behalf of The Odyssey Trust. Gilbert-Ash Fitout created a stylish new VIP lounge and bar at the Odyssey Arena and completed refurbishment of all the venue’s 24 VIP boxes in time for the MTV EMAs extravaganza.
“It was an absolute dream and a privilege to be asked to unveil the new VIP lounge at the Odyssey that was used by all the stars when they were here for Sunday’s mega awards ceremony,” mother of three, Alecia, told the Times.
