THE Arts Society of Ulster (ASU) is holding a £100 charity art sale and exhibition in Merville House opening at 7pm on Thursday, June 28 and continuing on to Sunday, July 1.

Over 300 pieces by the Society’s members will be on display and on sale for £100, with proceeds going to the Glengormley-based Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice charity.

A wonderful variety of media and techniques of painting will be on show in both contemporary and traditional styles.

As most of the society’s members are semi-professional or professional artists the standard of work is very high and the £100 price for each work represents excellent value for money.

Paul Holmes, ASU President said: “The Children’s Hospice is greatly in need of funds each year and we ask you to come along and support this very worthwhile event.”

The Arts Society of Ulster is, itself, a registered charity with the aim of promoting and making accessible art to all in Northern Ireland. For more information visit www.artssocietyofulster.com
