Saturday, July 21 will see the Diamond at Rathcoole transformed into a spectacular farm with something for everyone.

An unusual array of animals from kangaroos to reptiles will be on display while the Petting Farm will have lots of popular farm animals for visitors to hold and feed. Donkey rides, dog walking and craft stalls to browse, will also available to keep folk moving around the ‘pop up’ farm.

The highlight of the day will be top TV ‘Dog Guru’ Keith Mathews demonstrating his highly entertaining masterful displays. An obedience class with the reputable dog trainer should be a welcome relief for dog owners who are experiencing behavioural problems with their canine pals.

This free and fun-packed event will be on from 1pm to 5pm and will also focus on a range of environmental messages including raising awareness of dog fouling and the latest dog legislation.

So, get your wellies to the ready and get down to the Diamond for some fun at the farm. For more information on this event contact Sara Barkley on Tel: 028 9034 0197 or visit www.newtownabbey.gov.uk/events
