International music fans snap up Planetlove tickets

PLANETLOVE are witnessing unprecedented tickets sales from mainland UK and the Republic of Ireland for their forthcoming music festival extravaganza, which takes place over two days at Belfast's King's Hall Showgrounds from Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11.

Featuring the most exciting and varied line-up in Planetlove history, the festival plays host to a plethora of music superstars including world renowned DJ/producer Fatboy Slim, Run DMC's legendary Rev Run , Scottish phenomenal Calvin Harris, London pop-rapper Example, and the world's Number 1 DJ Armin van Buuren.

And it's that variety of acts and music genres that is being accredited with the huge demand for tickets from out of state visitors!

Judith Farrell-Rowan, of organisers PLM, said: "There's always been a healthy interest from GB and ROI in Planetlove but this year ticket sales have doubled!

"It's definitely down to our bigger line-up made known via a wider marketing campaign, but also, Belfast is a city on the up right now so people are seeking more and more reasons to come here.

"We plan to show them the greatest Planetlove in its 12 year history!"

Weekend Tickets to Planetlove have also been snapped up by music fans in Netherlands, Poland, Latvia and Canada, meaning this year's festival will be attended by a wider range of nationalities than ever before.

Further acts confirmed for the city centre spectacular include Above & Beyond, Kaskade, Eddie Halliwell, Mark Knight, DJ Berrie, Sidney Samson, Chuckie, Sander Kleinenberg, Slam, Sander van Doorn, Dash Berlin, Mauro Picotto, John O'Callaghan, Michael Woods and many more.

Dance music brands Q-Dance, Toolroom Knights and Goodgreef host arenas, while the complete festival experience includes a funfair, stalls, merchandise shops, bungee jump, world foods and event surprises, all located in a specially constructed festival village.

Online broadcaster B@ TV will have camera crews filming proceedings across the weekend.
