Hallowe’en kicks off this weekend in Glengormley with a Spooktacular Trick or Treat Trail, so don’t miss this bewitching event on Saturday, October 22, with many mysterious findings to be made.

Trick or Treat Trail maps will be available in local schools and can also be collected at Glenwell Spar on the Antrim Road or print one from www.newtownabbey.gov.uk

Then off you go on what is sure to be a journey of jitters, to discover all sorts of ghastly goings-on!

Completed trail maps must be returned to Glenwell Spar, where a special reward can be collected for completing the trail. Everyone who completes the trail will also be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a Nintendo Wii, complete with Wii Sports game, kindly donated by Henderson’s Spar. Runner up prizes sponsored by Funworks will also be up for grabs.

The winner will be announced at the Ghouls and Fools event which is taking place in the Lilian Bland Community Park on Friday, October 28, between 6pm and 9pm.

The Trick or Treat Trail is for children aged 5 to 11 years, who must be accompanied by an adult. For further details visit www.newtownabbey.gov.uk or call Tel: 028 9034 0009.
