BOYS from the 3rd Newtownabbey BB company band will perform at the historic May Street Presbyterian Church in Belfast city centre during two ‘Celebrate Christmas’ concerts being organised as part of the church’s programme of Advent events.

The concerts, which will raise funds for the Glengormley-based Children’s Hospice and the church’s Urban Soul Cafe, will take place on December 1 and December 8 at 7.30pm.

Hosted by television presenter Tina Campbell, the events will feature bands and choirs from a variety of schools and youth organisations, including Hazelwood Integrated College, Belfast School of Music, Youth Lyric, and 3rd Newtownabbey Boys’ Brigade from Glengormley Methodist Church.

The programme will feature a range of familiar Christmas songs and music, and the church will be decorated for the Christmas season.

Tickets for the concerts, priced at £5 each, are available from Urban Soul Cafe at May Street Church, by telephoning: 028 9032 5554, or via email from urbansoulcafe@live.com
