MEMBERS of Abbots Cross Presbyterian Church are currently putting the finishing touches to a musical drama they are staging which is based on the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 1 Bible story.

The curtain rises on ‘Expecting the Unexpected’ on Tuesday, November 15 and Wednesday, November 16 at the Courtyard Theatre, Ballyearl.

Some of the same team who were involved in the very popular show ‘Namaan’ will also be involved in this production which portrays the story of two women at very different stages in life - one just approaching the start of womanhood and the other nearing its end. Both women receive highly unexpected news about God’s plan for their lives.

Combining the same mix of drama, music and comedy as was featured in Namaan, this show follows their path to the realization that nothing is impossible with God.

The Wednesday evening’s performance is almost sold out, but tickets are still available for Tuesday and can be purchased, priced at £8, from the Courtyard Theatre Box Office on Tel: 028 9034 0202, or online from the website: www.thecourtyardtheatre.com
