Hollybank pupils dress up for NSPCC fundraiser

HOLLYBANK Primary School welcomed NSPCC representative Amy Gregg to speak at its assembly on April 26.

Staff and pupils at the Monkstown school heard about the work of the charity and how Childline in helping to protect young people from harm.

Following the visit by Amy, and charity mascot ‘Buddy’, the school held a special charity day on Friday, May 3.

The event included a sponsored fancy dress walk around the school, with many colourful costumes on display.

The money raised on Friday, around £1,500, will be split between the school’s two chosen charities - the NSPCC and the Andrew Keers Foundation.
