Enjoy a musical journey

THE award-winning and critically acclaimed Fortwilliam Musical Society will bring its latest concert production ‘Broadway and Beyond’ to the Courtyard Theatre, Ballyearl next week.

Every year, the locally-based group delights and entertains audiences with its talent, enthusiasm and musical ability.

Society members are currently in rehearsals with their director, Joanne Laverty, musical director, William Cairns and choreographer, Angela Harding, to bring audiences an exciting mix of songs from popular musicals and famous songwriters such as Irving Berlin as well as legendary tunes from the likes of the Bee Gees, the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel. There will also be a sneak preview of their upcoming musical, ‘Me and My Girl’ and their Youth Group’s production of ‘Anything Goes’.

With sublime solos, excellent choral work and high-energy dance numbers, this highly popular local group is sure to delight audiences of all ages and tastes.
