THE Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice has thanked everyone who supported the annual Santa Day in the greater Whitewell area on Saturday, December 22.

Amanda O’Hanlon, along with her family and friends, have been organising the fundraiser for more than a decade, with this year’s event raising a fantastic £1,652 for the Hospice’s vital work at Horizon House.

On the day itself, Santa’s posse delivered presents to particular houses in the area, in return for a donation to NI Children’s Hospice.

“Special thanks to Amanda O’Hanlon, Michelle Denvir and Cathy Lillis, the other helpers and all the local parents who supported this magnificent effort. All monies raised from the event will go directly towards the work of NI Children’s Hospice,” said the charity’s Northern Region Community Fundraiser, Peter McCabe.
