THERE are just a few days left to sign up for the seasonal Santa Stroll which is taking place on Friday, December 14.

People are being encouraged to sign up before December 7 and raise some funds for the Mayor’s charities - Alzheimer’s Society, Epilepsy Northern Ireland and Reach.

The annual Santa Stroll is a perfect way to get into the festive spirit whilst raising money for charity.

The 3km sponsored walk will start at Mossley railway halt car park at 12.30pm and continue out to Corr’s Corner before returning.

The route is suitable for all ages and abilities and is wheelchair accessible.

Participants must pay a £10 entry fee, which includes a free Santa suit to wear on the walk. Suits can be collected from the reception at Mossley Mill from 11am on the day of the event.

On finishing the stroll, walkers will get to enjoy a complimentary hot drink and mince pie.

Applications are available online at www.newtownabbey.gov.uk/christmas or by calling 9034 0065.
