GUEST speakers from Women’s Aid and ChildLine visited Ballyclare Primary School during Anti-Bullying Week to speak to pupils about what bullying is and the many different forms that it can take.

Throughout the week, each class completed different activities all about bullying, including drama workshops and art and music projects.

At the end of the week, seven pupils from Mrs Arbuckle’s class put on a fantastic assembly all about bullying and how it is not acceptable in school or elsewhere.

The main event of the week-long initiative was called ‘Blue Day’ when the pupils were invited to show their support for Anti-Bullying Week by wearing the colour blue.

All pupils entered into the spirit and enjoyed wearing blue for the day, while some even dyed their hair for the occasion.
