Big hearted staff and customers of Bureau cafe bar and restaurant recently supported the MS Society NI by holding a pub quiz.

The event at the Whiteabbey eatery - recently rebranded Bureau By The Lough - was well supported and raised an impressive total of £750 for the charity.

Samantha Creighton, Community Fundraiser with the MS Society commented: “We are indebted to Damien and Dana Curran of Bureau By The Lough who organised such a great event and to all their customers who donated so generously. We depend on the generosity of the Northern Ireland public to fund our life enhancing services and support so this fantastic donation will make a big difference to our work.”

Dana Curran added: “It was an absolute pleasure to organise a fundraiser for MS Society as it’s such a worthwhile cause. The night was great fun and a terrific success - our customers deserve a huge pat on the back for their generosity. We now intend to run a weekly pub quiz and will incorporate more fundraising initiatives as we go along.”
