ANDY Flannagan, a Christian singer/songwriter now based in London, is returning home to Newtownabbey to launch his long-awaited new album, ‘Drowning in the Shallow’.

Andy, who previously worked as a doctor, will perform his new album in Carnmoney Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 12.

Produced by Grammy Award winner Alan Branch, the album is full of stories of broken things and people longing to be made whole, told in Andy’s trademark organic, melodic style.

“It is great to be returning to Carnmoney Church where I remember playing football at the Friday night youth club,” Andy commented.

“The best way to experience the new album is to hear the songs live and hear the stories and see the places from whence the songs came,” he added.

Saturday’s concert, during which Andy will be joined on stage by a number of guest musicians, will start at 7pm.

Admission costs £5, payable at the door.
