Start your countdown to the festive season with Nuala McKeever’s brand new Christmas comedy, Carol’s Christmas at Theatre at The Mill, Newtownabbey.

Carol loves her job at the Mirror Mirror gift shop; she adores her flat above it and her friends Herbie and Danny in the cafe next door. Life is just about perfect. That is until Carol overhears her scheming boss Sandra plotting to sell the lot to Vlad the Russian, and all before Christmas.

Carol is desperate, it all looks lost until one day she polishes a lamp and releases a genie called Norman, however he suffers from LGE (low genie esteem) because people just don’t believe in magic anymore. Can Carol and friends get Norman to find his mojo again and save the day?

Carol’s Christmas is an unashamedly romantic story that celebrates love, misunderstandings and a little bit of magic.

Writer and star of the show, Nuala McKeever commented: “Writing Carol’s Christmas has been quite an antidote to all the doom and gloom in the real world and its message, behind the laughs, is that everyone has something to give. It is one I’ve kept to the fore during the writing and re-writing.”

Tickets for the show, which runs from Tuesday 20 - Saturday 31 December (including Boxing Night & New Year’s Eve), are priced from just £14 and are available from the Theatre at The Mill box office on 9034 0202 or online at www.theatreatthemill.com
