A NEWTOWNABBEY man who suffers from cerebral palsy will be taking a jump for charity soon with a monster skydive.
Tim Haddock is taking part in the ‘Moonjumper’ on Wednesday, November 16 to raise funds for the Northern Ireland International Children’s Charity Appeal (NIICCA).
The 34-year-old who is a volunteer in the charity’s Glengormley shop, Second Time Round, claims the challenge ahead doesn’t faze him.
“The charity does some fantastic work and when I was asked to take part I just said yes right away,” Tim told the Times.
“Once the doctors said there was no problem doing it, I was ready.
“I will be doing a tandem jump because of my condition, but it won’t annoy me.
“I once abseiled a 150ft cliff, so this shouldn’t be much more difficult than that.”
