Valley Park to host Sport Relief event

THE Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile 2012 fundraising drive to help support those living difficult lives both in the UK and the world’s poorest countries, is set to take place at Valley Park on Sunday, March 25 at 10.30am.

The local event, which is just one of a fundraising series taking part simultaneously nationwide, will include one, three and six mile variations.

Bookings can be made on the Sport Relief Mile website at a cost of £3 for adults, £1.50 for a child and £7.50 for families.

Newtownabbey Borough Council will also be holding a Family Fun Day to add to the occasion.
