THERE will be a strong Newtownabbey contingent among the ranks of the Belfast Operatic Company when they take to the stage at the Grand Opera House next week for their production of the hit musical ‘Calamity Jane’.

Featuring on stage will be Tina McVeigh and her daughter Hannah from Jordanstown, Ian McMaster, who will be part of the 60-strong chorus, and Glengormley teacher Anne Gillespie, the company’s very accomplished accompanist.

The talented cast of singers and dancers will put on six performances of the popular musical at the Belfast venue between March 15 and 19.
