PRESIDENT Rosemary Fell welcomed members to the October meeting of Glengormley Women’s Institute.

The guest speaker was Mrs Jacqui Milliken, whose talk was entitled ‘Creative Memories’.

Jacqui gave a brief history of the craft of scrapbooking and explained how she became involved in the fast-growing hobby. She showed some examples of her beautiful albums which illustrated the creative way in which photographs can be displayed and preserved as unique keepsakes and gifts.

Nessa Adair thanked Jacqui for the enjoyable presentation.

The competition for ‘A Memento from the Past’ was won by Ruth Starrett.
