Police have recovered cannabis and cocaine with an estimated street value of £250,000 after searches Newtownabbey, Templepatrick and Bangor.

Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch said they recovered substantial quantities of illegal drugs and other other drug related paraphernalia at three properties.

Detective Inspector Pete Mullan said: "No arrests have been made at this time but our investigation is ongoing.

“I am very pleased to have taken these dangerous and illegal substances from our streets and as our current operation focusing on illegal drugs (Op Torus) continues, I would ask anyone with information regarding the use or supply of illegal drugs to pass that information on to police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
