NEWTOWNABBEY Police are appealing for your help in solving the following crimes:
• ROBBERY - Shortly before 4pm on Tuesday 24 June police were alerted to the theft of a handbag from an elderly woman in the area of Merville Garden Village shops. The victim, an 88-year-old female, received a slight shoulder injury and was left shak
en by her ordeal.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

• CRIMINAL DAMAGE - At around 8.15am on the same date police received a report that some time overnight eight windows had been broken at a community services building in the Abbots Cross area. The culprits also entered the premises and removed a mirror that was found at the scene.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area.

• BURGLARY - At 8.55am on June 24 police were alerted to a burglary having occurred at a building site on the Doagh Road, Ballyclare. Entry was gained to a vacant property and a Candy stainless steel oven and hob and dishwasher were stolen.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area between 4.40pm the previous day and the time of the report to police.

• THEFT - Police investigating a theft from a building site on the Kings Moss Road have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
A dumper truck valued at £10,000 was taken from the site sometime between 5.30pm on June 23 and 7.30am the following day. The stolen truck is described as a one tonne yellow Benford HD 1000, serial number E510HM631, with a Dolphin Hire sticker on it.

• CREEPER BURGLARIES - Shortly after 3am on Thursday 26 June police received a report of a creeper burglary in the Carnmoney Court area during which a black Toyota MR2 registration AIG 9917 was stolen. The vehicle has still not been recovered.
At around 4.50am on the same date police were also alerted to a creeper burglary having taken place at a home in the Glenmount Drive area. A red Audi A4 Skyline registration FYO7TXH was stolen. A television, a laptop computer, camera, mobile phone and a purse were also stolen.
Police are keen to hear from anyone with information about either incident.

• ASSAULT - Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed an assault which took place on the Jordanstown Road on Saturday 21 June.
The victim received a fracture to his right arm and bruising to his body when he was attacked by a group of males.
The incident, which was only reported to police on June 27, may have involved a number of males who were travelling in a blue and black Vauxhall car.

• CRIMINAL DAMAGE - Police in Ballyclare want to hear from anyone who can help with their investigation into an incident of criminal damage which took place at the weekend.
Shortly after 1pm on Sunday 29 June police received a report that criminal damage had been caused to cars in the Heather Park area of the town. The rear window of a red Honda CRV was broken, and later that day police received a further report that the rear window of a white Mercedes car had also been broken during the night.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area to contact them.

• CRIMINAL DAMAGE - Officers investigating an incident of criminal damage at house in Glebe Road West, Glengormley at the weekend have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Just before 10.30pm on Sunday 29 June police were informed that several panes of glass in a greenhouse at the property had been smashed. They want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area.

• ARRESTS - Three males aged 44, 36 and 38 are expected to appear at Laganside Magistrate's Court on July 24 charged with theft.
It is believed the charges are in connection with a burglary which took place in the Antrim Road area of Glengormley on June 26.
