STAFF at the council's dog pound are trying to trace the owners of a Staffordshire bull terrier found in Glengormley last week.
The five-year-old tan-coloured male, thought to be called Tye, was found in the Carnmoney Road area.

The dog has been microchipped, but it seems his owners no longer live at the Glengormley address contained in the registration details.

Tye is currently being housed at the Animal Ark Boarding Kennels in Carrickfergus and his owners are being urged to come and claim him.

For more information, telephone 9335 1004.
