A MAJOR photographic exhibition will officially open at Mossley Mill next week.
The East Antrim Open Exhibition will be officially declared open by Deputy Mayor John Scott on Monday (July 7) at 8pm.

For the second successive year the event has been accorded patronage by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB), which will enable the organisers to award PAGB Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and ribbons - some of the top awards that can be achieved by amateur photographers in the UK.

Awards will be presented on the night to the winners of the East Antrim Photographic Union Interclub Competitions - an annual competition between Merville Newtownabbey Photographic Club, Antrim Camera Club and Carrickfergus Camera Club.

Members of the three clubs will be joined at the official opening by representatives from the Northern Ireland Photographic Association and other guests.

The exhibition, which includes 75 prints featuring people, architecture, wildlife, landscapes and a whole host of other subjects, is already open to the public in the foyer of Mossley Mill and will run until August 31.
