HYDE PARK Presbyterian Church will hold its 81st annual flower show on Saturday, September 13.
The opening ceremony will be performed in the church halls at 3 p.m. by special guest Mark Davis, of Pots of Pleasure, Ballyclare.

Flowers, fruit, vegetables, home-baked bread, cake and preserves will form the major part of the competitions. In addition, there will be craft classes for children and young people.

The photographic section for adults and children is always popular and there are classes for the amateur photographer in colour, black-and-white or digital pictures.

A craft and gift stall will include home-made cards - and no show would be complete without afternoon teas, offering home baking.

Schedules are available from Nesbitt’s Butcher, Glengormley.
