MOSSLEY ALternative Youth Project has received £10,000 towards its work with local young people aged between 13 and 25 years.
The funding was presented to the group by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland.

Handing over the money during a recent visit to view the work of the project, Deputy Chair of the Foundation, Mrs Paddy Bailie commented: “We are delighted to be able to support the work of Mossley Alternative Youth Project. The money will be used towards the salary of the Youth Worker. We wish the organisation continuing success with their excellent work in the community.”

Mossley Alternative Youth Project provides physical activities, musical tutoring and a drop in centre for local young people.

The Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland awards around £2 million to community projects across the province each year.
