MALLUSK girl Shalana Adrain
(pictured), will be crossing the Atlantic, hoping to make a difference in her own way - at an American Summer Camp.

She attended the Camp America Recruitment Fair in January and after meeting with the Directors she found a placement for this summer.

Following a successful recruitment fair in Belfast in January, Shalana Adrain walked away with a position as a counsellor at a US Summer Camp.

"I'm very excited and looking forward to a great summer, I can't wait to be a part of camp life and start teaching the sport I love," she said.

Summer camp is an action lover's paradise - there are positions available in an enormous range of activities, from drama and music to sports and extreme sports, computing and even circus skills! For many it's an experience they'll never forget.

If you are interested in applying for a summer that you'll never forget, visit the Camp America website www.campamerica.co.uk and complete an online application.
