Marie Curie’s Sixmile Fundraising Group has thanked Asda Ballyclare and its customers for their recent Sunday Blooming Great Tea Party held at the store.

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Ballyclare a further £265.68 was raised on the day, with customers sampling Marie Curie buns with a wee cuppa from 1pm to 4pm.

Customers also celebrated Marie Curie Cancer Care’s 65th Birthday, sampling the Asda celebration cake which was decorated at the in-store bakery with photographs celebrating the momentous occasion.

This summer, Asda Ballyclare has raised almost £1,300 towards the work of Marie Curie Cancer Care across Northern Ireland, and the Sixmile Fundraising Group has expressed its thanks to Christine Craig, Asda Community Champion, the members of the Asda Ballyclare team and the store’s customers for their tremendous support and generosity.
