Big turnout for Knockagh WI annual quiz night

Knockagh Area WI's held their annual Quiz and Bowls tournament in Templepatrick Presbyterian Church with Valerie Park (secretary), Margaret Stokes (executive member), Valerie Green (area chairman) and Barbara Shanks (assistant secretary). INNT 08-035-FP

THE Knockagh Area WI held its annual bowls and quiz finals on Saturday, February 16 at Templepatrick Presbyterian Church Hall.

Around 120 members turned out for the annual event, one of the biggest crowds in the history of the competitions.

The quiz was won by Glengormley with Straid second and Templepatrick coming third.

The bowls competition was won by Ballyclare with Mossley coming second.

Next meeting of the group will be the spring meeting in Templepatrick Presbyterian Church hall on April 25 at 7.30pm.
