A group of budding entrepreneurs recently completed a training course that taught them the skills needed to start-up a business.

The ‘Let’s Start a Business’ course is one of the many training courses provided free of charge at Mallusk Enterprise Park.

The site is a social enterprise business, which prides itself on helping local people explore the option of self-employment. The course is made up of six evening training sessions and they provide essential business information including how to create a business idea, how to promote your business via social media marketing, how to make sure there’s enough cash flowing into the business, what insurances are needed in business and a whole host of other legislation and legalities that new business starts need to be aware of.

The business team at Mallusk will now work closely with their associates in Antrim Enterprise Agency to assist these individuals with further start-up advice, training and the development of their business plans.
