Cycling 322 miles from London to Paris in four days was a challenging feat, but John Jenkins, managing director of Ballyclare-based Dennison Commercials, succeeded and managed to raise over £4,200 for Mencap in Northern Ireland.

John was accompanied by three team mates who between them raised over £8,500 for the charity.

Una Brown, Mencap in Northern Ireland’s development manager, said: “I want to thank John, Robert, Paul and Joe for doing this amazing journey for Mencap as it is a huge undertaking. Everyone who raises money for Mencap always goes the extra mile, but to go over 300 miles is something else guys.”
