Mallusk-based Henderson Foodservice has been named as one of Ireland’s most successful companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme, which recognises excellence in business management and performance.
The company, a division of the Henderson Group, is the market leading Foodservice business in Northern Ireland.
It offers a comprehensive service to the catering industry, providing a vast and varied product offering across ambient, chilled, frozen, non-food, bakery and fresh produce ranges.
The Best Managed Companies Awards Programme was created to recognise the overall success of a company, including management strength, ability to innovate, strategic initiatives and financial performance.
This year’s winning companies were congratulated by Irish Prime Minister, Enda Kenny TD at a gala awards dinner in Dublin on March 7.

Henderson Foodservice has seen sales growth of 33 per cent in the last two years and staff numbers have increased by 20 per cent to over 250.
The company has recently added 15 new vehicles to its fleet, meaning that 50 lorries now transport deliveries across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland six days a week.
Investment has also been made in a new warehouse management system to ensure customer service is even more efficient.
