Royal Mail delivery office now open on Sundays

The office at the Northern Ireland Mail Centre at Enterprise Way, Mallusk is now open on Sundays, between 11am and 3pm.

The move is part of a UK-wide programme to extend the opening hours at Royal Mail’s busiest delivery offices to seven days a week.

The initiative is designed to make it easier for online shoppers who are not at home during the day to get their parcels at a convenient time over the weekend.

Mike Newnham, Royal Mail’s Chief Customer Officer said: “We are continuing to be more responsive to our customers and are providing even more options for people to receive items they have ordered online. Sunday opening is just one of the ways we are transforming our business to be more customer focused.”

• Newtownabbey Delivery Office new opening hours are: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 7:00pm, Saturday 7:30am to 2pm, Sunday 11am to 3pm.
