Newtownabbey woman Mary Hamilton is celebrating winning almost £13million in the Euromillions lottery.

Her Lucky Dip ticket - numbers 13, 25, 32, 38 and 46 with lucky stars 01 and 10 - scooped her a life-changing £12,935,936.30 in the November 7 draw.

Mary (65), a furniture store employee, and her husband Sandy (67) have been married for 40 years.

Although she has been playing the lottery for 20 years, Mary said she never dreamed she’d win such a huge jackpot.

She bought the lucky ticket in the Jet filling station on the Shore Road, Whitehouse.

Mary and Sandy say they will use their newfound fortune to look after friends and family, as well as helping the local community.
