Coaching camp for football crazy kids

FOOTBALL crazy kids from Newtownabbey are called to sign up for the Kidz4sportz coaching scheme, set to take place at the Valley Leisure Centre.

Two boys from Antrim have already been spotted by a Bolton Wanderers talent scout when 'Flybe Kidz4Sportz' was launched in Belfast.

Liverpool hero John Aldridge will be part of the coaching team at the Valley from July 3–7.

Andrea Hayes, Flybe's General Manager Market Development said Flybe recognised the important role football plays in the development of young people and the communities they live in. "Nurturing new talent and encouraging boys and girls to develop their skills base is vitally important for the future development of football in Northern Ireland.

"It is very exciting that within hours of the scheme being launched two young footballers have already been spotted by key development officers from Bolton. This is what the scheme is all about and shows that wonderful opportunities are really possible."
