THE 7th Heaven Animal Rescue Trust is appealing to local pet lovers to help it re-home a number of cats.

Stephen McMurray from the Roughfort-based charity said the Trust is currently looking for new homes for six friendly felines.

He explained: “Paige and Josie are two mature ladies. They are tortoiseshell sisters and enjoy each other’s company. Paige is the more precocious of the two and is very demanding when it comes to being stroked. Josie is slightly more shy but enjoys the attention when she gets it.

“Mango is an adorable female tabby. She loves climbing up your leg until you pick her up for kisses. A very affectionate lady.

“Kimble is very demanding when it comes to wanting stroked. She will usually grab hold of you until you succumb and pat her head or rub her chin. She likes to be the centre of attention.”

Stephen added: “Parker and Oscar are black and white males. They are the best of mates and share a room together. They love having attention lavished on them and will purr away happily beside you on the sofa.”

The cats are free to a good home, and the 7th Heaven Animal Rescue Trust will cover the cost of all preventative medication and neutering.
