Members of the council’s Leisure Committee have approved a request from the Association of Ulster Drama Festivals that visiting companies participating in the Ulster Drama Festival at Theatre at The Mill from April 7 - 12, 2014 should retain 70 per cent of the box office commission, with the theatre retaining 30 per cent.

Director of Leisure Services, Hugh Kelly stressed that the Ulster Drama Festival is “a prestigious event” that the council is keen to retain within the borough. Cllr Robert Hill asked officers to provide a report on attendance figures after the event.
