Elderly residents left shaken after attempted burglary

The incident took place in the Coole Park area at approximately 9pm.

The Times understands two males were involved, but they did not gain entry into the home of the elderly couple. The homeowners have been left very shaken as a result.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “If anyone has any information, could they please contact Antrim Detectives via the 101 number or, if they do not wish to discuss the matter with police, use the Crimestoppers contact them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
