Police investigate Glengormley burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at a house in the Tobar-Glen area of Glengormley.

The incident took place on October 10, but details have only been made public by the police.

Constable Pentland said: “It was reported that sometime between 10:30am and 7:30pm on Monday, October 10, entry was gained to the property and a sum of money stolen.

“I am appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or has information about the incident to contact Police at Newtownabbey Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1143 on 10/10/16. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
